Natural Gas Water Heater Program

An existing gas customer will receive a $100 credit applied to their account for installing a new natural gas water heater.

Before the credit is given the customer must show proof of purchasing the water heater and provide CG&W access to inspect the installed appliance.

A new gas customer will receive a $200 credit applied to their account for installing a natural gas water heater. To be eligible to receive the credit all water heaters in the structure must be natural gas water heaters. The customer shall pay the tap fee and deposit upon applying for service. At the time of the final gas inspection the natural gas water heater(s) must be completely installed to receive credit.

  • Stands and drain pans are available for certain installation needs.
  • Temperature controls allow settings for personal comfort and energy-saving "Vacation Setting".
